Salary at TAL Australia

After 2 years in the industry my pay is right at the bottom of the bell curve. Its bad. Also found out that I was given one of the lowest salary increases & bonuses out of my entire cohort.

I believe pay and bonuses is good.

Remuneration is okay, although with the economic environment i struggle on the pay as a grad. Bonus is good and based off of performance ratings.

Bonus structure at TAL is generous, with financial performance of the company often influencing individual bonuses for the better.

i think my pay is decent, but only because i've been working at the company for a while (a little longer than most graduates since i worked part time prior to the graduate role) would rather a more consistent understanding of the breakdown of my performance review and how that directly relates to the changes in pay + bonuses

TAL has a great bonus element to the salary, which is always nice on top of you base.

Fair pay and excellent bonus incentive at the end of year

Got unlucky with the bonus, interned with TAL after finishing uni for 6 months. I could have qualified for a bonus and leave and everything if I was put on a different system then just casual. Now if people start early, in the grad program, they are enrolled into the TAL systems and put on a part time contract. Meaning pay, bonuses, etc. will still count.

Social club.

There is a social club at TAL which permanent employees can join for a very low cost. The value of the events usually outweighs what you pay, and there have been prizes such as free tickets to wine tasting, dinners etc.

We get Life Insurance policies with TAL and we have a rewards platform which provides us with discounts on retailers.

Have a work group/committee which organises events for everyone, such as a cruise around Darling Harbor after work, free lunches, etc.

We have a Social Club wherein we contribute a nominal amount ($3?) a fortnight to participate in large events like lunches, cruises, etc worth many times that amount. For actuarial roles, exams and membership costs are reimbursed by the company, with generous leave.

The facilities in the building. There is a room for ping pong and other activities where I have spent many hours with other grads. Great to just unwind after a long day or just take a break during work.
