Your role
Opportunity for a Business Performance Analyst to join their Above Water Systems Business based in Garden Island. Part of the Performance and Insights team you will be accountable to the Business Performance Manager for data analysis, including the identification and tracking of performance drivers.
Key Responsibilities:
Dashboard Management: Take charge of creating and maintaining performance dashboards under the contract, covering essential aspects like safety, cost, maintenance, supply support, and the supply chain.
Data Collaboration: Collaborate closely with functional leads to ensure that usable data is effectively captured and correctly interpreted.
Data Analysis: Source, cleanse, format, and analyze data for inclusion in performance reporting, using your analytical skills to drive informed decision-making.
Automation: Contribute to the development and evolution of automated dashboards over time, leveraging tools like PowerBI and other suitable products, tailored to meet internal and external stakeholder system requirements.
Performance Metrics: Play a key role in developing data capture and reporting.
Contract Alignment: Collaborate with the Business Performance Manager and Contract Manager to ensure performance measurement aligns with the contract.
Performance Trends: Keep a close eye on metrics and, in collaboration with the business improvement officer, provide insights and advice regarding potential root causes.

About you
Here’s what Thales is looking for in this role:
A Diploma or formal qualification in Analytics or a Business-related field, with Australian Qualification Framework level 5 or above.
Graduate qualifications or training in areas like Project Management, Business Administration, or Data Analytics, at Australian Qualification Framework level 7 or above.
