Seeking a highly motivated individual studying a Bachelor Degree in Engineer (Civil or Environmental) to join Toowoomba Regional Council for a Scholarship opportunity in our industry leading Generator Program.
About the Opportunity
The Scholarship Engineering student will complete minor projects as required, and gain experience in investigations, design, project management, construction and maintenance, assets management, operations and other activities associated with the provision of engineering services in Local Government.
The student will rotate across the Toowoomba Region to assist with project exposure, enhancing training and development needs.
This is an exciting opportunity where the successful student will be mentored and learn from professional Engineers in the industry.

The Scholarship is a total of $20,000 and will be paid to the student recipient biannually in instalments of $2500.
During the Scholarship period, the student will be required to participate in paid employment as an intern over a total of 50 days during each calendar year. The student will have the option to work casually during the university semester and / or full-time during the holiday periods. The casual wage rate for the position is $28.85-32.51 gross per hour plus casual loading and 11% superannuation (junior rates may apply).
