Salary at Ventia

As a graduate I think the company pays extremely well to business grads.

Pay is great and will be missed once I moved to a more standard NZ pay after the program. Also, they have implemented a free southern cross health care insurance plan for those in NZ. It basic but very welcome.

The pay is good, it is hard at times being that the pay is monthly but it took some adjustment.

The pay is around average, other graduate role do pay more.

As a graduate the pay is not bad

I think it is good, but as it is my first full time job I have nothing to compare it to. I am disappointed that super is included in the pay. So you think you are on a good salary but then 11% gets taken away before anything else.. I am not sure if they do bonuses.

pay is good for entry level

The salary has not increased and cannot compete with today's living cost. The pay is not enough to pay for expenses.

No bonus. Pay is less than competitors. We dont have extra support when we relocate and no benefits such as Car if you are a civil engineer.

Our company doesn't offer salary bonuses due to an inbuilt perks system

I would say salary is comparatively less than any other tier1 companies

Free health southern cross health insurance, trips to Australia and 10% of ticket master.

We get regular emails about perks for different companies but I haven't used it yet.

There are some discounts depending on the program/project.

Nothing i can recall, besides the mandatory annual and sick leave hours.

None, have a pretty typical employee discount scheme with a wide variety of discounts available but nothing crazy. However, as a graduate I have been able to attend some industry events / award nights.

The vending machine at the office. Can make all sorts of drinks - hot or cold - which is pretty nice.

Discount on standard HOYTs tickets and more

Nothing really so far. We have a rewards program but it seems to just be discounts on coupons for different stores. We got everything paid for when we travelled to Melbourne for a grad workshop. and I believe that if we move within the grad program (for work) then that will be paid for as well.

Moving, travel and work related expenses

There's VenPerks that nobody uses. The company has banned major forms of gifting of tickers, dinners , hampers and gifts because it is 'unethical'.

Free drinks and dinner during offsite.

If you are a graduate, you get expenses to move but no other support. Flexible work hours.

Some small discounts on groceries, movie tickets, technology etc.

There are small discounts are many stores such as woolworths (e.g 5%)

Often free food in kitchen area. Great employee discount scheme.
