My manager and company are extremely flexible with hours with the ability to work from home as well which helps me maintain a great balance and allows me to work around commitments.

Very satisfied. 9-5 unless covering operations and something is going wrong.

I work 9-5. 3 days remote and 2 days in office. The work hours are very flexible if you have a reasonable excuse for starting late or working from or anything else as necessary.

the company is super flexible with the way they set up their work weeks, with no fixed start or finish times and when working in engineering you have the flexibility to work in a way that is most efficient for you. There is however and expectation to do what needs to be done when it needs to be done and some times that means working longer hours than is in your contract - not necessarily paid as that is part of your duty

Relatively flexible, can start when suits me, if I need to take time off for an appointment, there has never been any issues.

My work hours feel fairly light, but may require us to put in some extra time. The flexibility depends on your position, who you work with, etc.
Graduate, Melbourne - 06 Aug 2024
Very flexible with hours, just need to be available when needed. They are also flexible with work location.
Graduate, Sydney - 06 Aug 2024
Whilst it is typical for the workload to require input in excess of the contracted 'hours per week', there is a high degree of flexibility from the company in terms of how & where that work is undertaken.

Viva has a hybrid work model and the Viva Flex model allows employees to find a great balance between their work and personal lives.

It is expected that you get your work done. You could leave early one day, but you would be expected to make up for this lost time on a later date. You are employed for a 38 hour work week, so that is what you are expected to work.

Due to my hobbies I've got a flexible arrangement of hours with my manager, where I cover my 40 hours a week non-uniformly in order to accommodate early leave or late starts on certain days. However, when there are certain deadlines, I may occasionally work overtime in order to complete these tasks which I usually don't mind.
Graduate, Melbourne - Docklands - 18 Jul 2023
I come in to the office 2 days a week and WFH the other 3 days
Graduate, Melbourne - 18 Jul 2023
The company is very flexible however my ideal work environment would be to work from home full time
Graduate, Melbourne - 17 Jul 2023
9-5 and I appreciate the flexibility of hours and location of work

Usually work 8:30am - 5pm on weekdays, with flexibility to start a bit earlier and finish up earlier.

My hours are very good. I'm working normal full-time hours of 38-40 hours per week. The extra 2 hours per week is when something really interesting is happening and I stay back. Nobody will make you stay back past your finish time, if you mention that it's home time for you they will encourage you to go home. I've also varied my start/finish time a lot which has been very useful.
Graduate, Geelong - 17 Jul 2023
Extremely flexible. The expectation is that provided that you are getting your work done, you can have some flexibility around start and finish times.
