Eligibility
You must be Australian or New Zealand Citizen OR an Australian Permanent Resident, AND be in your final year of study of a university degree OR completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree no more than 3 years ago.
You’ll need to be available to start with us as a permanent employee in February 2023.
Be part of cultivating Westpac's competitive edge in the market by striking the right balance between protecting and optimising business. Working across a broad network of stakeholders, we develop relationships, build trust and help solve problems.
This is a 12-month program with 3 x 4-month rotations. You will work across diverse Risk business teams to understand the different focuses across the Group Risk Function. All rotations are supported with on-the-job training, project work, practical workshops and keynote events that will strengthen your Risk knowledge, capability and skills.
The 3 rotations are pre-determined, selected for diversity and broad experience to inform Risk career direction.
A career in Risk could result in roles such as a business analyst, modeller, risk manager and quantitative analyst.
We're looking for people who are passionate, strategic, innovative and keen to understand the interconnected nature of our systems, processes and people, whilst linking the risks and opportunities. Graduates from all disciplines are welcome to apply. A quantitative aptitude, the ability to problem solve and strong leadership potential are an advantage.
