This course leads to two separate degrees:
You will gain all the benefits of each degree course (see Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Arts) and be fully equipped to pursue a career in either field separately or to combine the two in your chosen work.
You might pair Criminology with Chemistry and take Human rights or Pharmacology as a minor and focus on forensic science, or Human geography combined with Ecology and conservation biology for a career in the environmental sector. If your focus is more towards the life sciences, you might consider combining psychology with politics and take minors in bioethics or developmental biology and language studies. The choice is yours.
Job opportunities are extremely diverse and may include work in research institutes and industry fields related to technology, production, environment, agriculture, minerals and resources. These industries value employers with sound scientific knowledge and the ability to communicate strategies, policies and findings to the public.
