Graduate Certificate
The Graduate Certificate of Information Technology Research (GCITR) offers a pathway to higher-level research in information technology. This course is for high achieving students who have completed a relevant undergraduate and coursework masters degree but do not have a research component required to be eligible to apply for a research degree.
GCITR Students will undertake research methodology training and carry out an independent research project on a selected topic. They will work closely with a supervisor who will provide the student with individual guidance and academic counselling. The GCITR will consist of 4 units that can be completed in half a year. The Certificate will only be offered as part of a package with a conditional offer to enter the FIT Doctor of Philosophy or Master of Philosophy.
