The focus of the human resource management major is on the preparation of graduates for entry into the human resources profession. Human resource management graduates acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to manage people in organisations including recruitment performance and reward systems employment relations and staff development. The human resource management specialisation in the Graduate Certificate of Business is designed to provide foundation knowledge research and skills appropriate to HRM professions.

The Graduate Certificate in Business is an excellent re-introduction to tertiary learning and an opportunity to update skills or as one-quarter of the Master of Business program a pathway to higher level study.
