When I signed my JO with the company, they advocated that there are no discriminations within the company and advocates PWDs as their proud employee. They incorporated these kind of cultures within the firm

Regardless of their individuality, everyone is treated with respect.

Good, although I don't think DEI should be made a priority

Extreme commitment as I see a diverse team with me and around the office in regards to background and ethnicity. If not at the beginning when I joined then certainly of recent times. Gender diverse aswell with many female colleagues.

I would say in respect to everything but the LGBTQIA+ community, Acciona is very committed to diversity and inclusion. It was interesting that a queer graduate was asked to talk about her experience being queer in Acciona, when Acciona has not done a single initiative during my time here to make queer people feel included. They are not discriminatory towards the queer community, however their effort to show support in this community is lacking. Considering, Acciona is a Spanish company, where Spain is considered very supportive of queer people, I would have expected more. Having also sat in on roundtable discussions with the head of EDI, the LGBTQIA+ community was never even in their meeting agenda. That being said, almost all other areas are really well supported, including holiday child care, Indigenous Australians (celebrated NAIDOC week and Reconciliation week), offer maternity leave, provide English lessons for those who have English as a second language.

At Acciona, while there's a strong focus on advancing gender diversity, I recognise the need to better celebrate and support other forms of diversity. For instance, increasing our recognition of events like Pride Month and culturally significant celebrations can enhance our inclusivity efforts. We are committed to broadening our diversity initiatives to ensure all aspects of our workforce, including ethnic minorities and the LGBTIQA+ community, are valued and celebrated.

Construction is already a tough industry to achieve diversity in, so for the most part the company is doing alright.

Strong push for diversity given that construction has been an historically homogeneous industry. Provide lunch time talks from diverse employees about experience and run educational sessions and programs during themed weeks.

It's pretty well for diversity here, there is more than 50+ culture in our project and all trying hard on balancing people in different genders. almost 40/60 in proportion of female and male employee in my office and there are projects doing better than us.

they are inclusive.

the company I work for is extremely committed to providing a safe place to everyone where diversity is celebrated. I have never witnessed any prejudice or judgement based on gender, ethnicity, sexual identity etc. I would however say I hope in the future that awareness and support of disabilities and hidden disabilities is improved

I can't really tell what they do as I'm not a person of diversity. However from seeing the emails they send out and campaigns they do. It's feels like they are committed to it.

The company is very diverse with people from lots of different backgrounds working together in my team. There are always lots of people from Spain as it is a Spanish company.
