Please comment on your company's office space, location and facilities. And while we're at it, please tell us a little about the dress code.
The office amenities are great, we have snacks and coffee provided for all staff members as well as complimentary drinks in our bar fridge. The dress code is general smart casual depending on if there is an event on or if you are having client meetings. The office is also quite close to bus stops, train stations and the new metro in Crows Nest :)

The offices I have worked at are across Canberra but usually have great facilities and locations. The dress code can be described as business casual but is fairly lenient.

The Dickson offices (480 Northbourne, Dickson ACT 2602) are beautiful and well-lit.

There is always enough office space and facilities to accommodate everyone even with hotdesking. The locations are near public transportation and suburb centres. The facilities are very new and work well. The dress code is quite flexible and relaxed.

All buildings with End of Trip facilities. Laundered towels. Showers. Centrally located. Dress code varies across directorates from edgy to corporate.

Excellent facilities. Dress code is fine. Professional appearance is maintained but there is no strict enforcement.

All offices have been in practical locations for me. Closest amenities for Health Protection Service in Holder requiring driving by car but this was well communicated to me. Office spaces and facilities have been adequate - desk space and availability, kitchens and toilets are clean, well maintained and suitable. All offices can be cold sometimes. During my first rotation I had an allocated desk (no hot desking). Hot desking for second and third rotation (so far) has been easy. Dress code for first rotation was business casual-business formal, second rotation business casual/casual and third rotation business casual.

Holder: 5/10. I think it has everything an office needs but the lack of sit/stand desks, lights, and the fact that it is in the middle of nowhere which hurts the ability to do a 15/20 minute midday break to get a coffee really limits it. Bowes Street: 9/10. Compared to Dickson where I'm currently at, there was less sunlight which is my big knock against it.

Hedley Beare Centre for Teaching and Learning is not a great office space. Drab, dank, and a confusing layout. Decent collaboration spaces. I'll prefer HB to anywhere else though for the free parking. 220 London Circuit provides an excellent office environment. The only negative thing I could say is that my body doesn't like walking close to the railing edges when at high levels (3+).

I am currently in the ACT health building (4 Bowes Street). All IT and desks set ups are easy to use (only need to bring my laptop) and have sit stand desks which I really love. All ACT gov buildings I have worked at have really good facilities. The dress code in my current role is business casual but this varies from workspace to workspace.

The office space is good, no issues. Collaboration spaces are great. As a graduate it is challenging to be placed in a rotation nowhere near you home and then expected to commute. It added 1.5-2 hours to my work-day due to public transport travel as I could not afford the parking, and I live inner city. Location does not appear to be a consideration when graduates are placed in rotations.

The locations are great. The parking is very expensive, esp. for a grad who has just moved to Canberra.

it's an old building, sometimes lift not working and need some maintenance.

The location of the office is excellent - easily accessible via public transport and close to a range of great cafes and restaurants. Being a new building, the facilities are all high quality, especially the kitchen with a range of appliances offered to prepare meals (including microwaves, convection ovens, sandwich press, coffee machine, fridges/freezers and filtered cold and boiling water). The office also gets lots of natural sunlight and is well air-conditioned. The dress code is smart casual, but staff are welcome to wear whatever they like, provided it is appropriate and not too revealing.

Depends on where you're at! The city offices / newer buildings are extraordinary - very new, very accessible, incredible design, very spacious, easy to access on PT etc. Surrounded by so many restaurants / cafes / facilities. The older ones, like where Education is based, is hard to access on PT, limited facilities, older infrastructure and not design for co-working (poor acoustics, aesthetics, not great ventilation / natural light) and limited access to food / facilities around office if you do not drive. Dress code is smart casual, and relatively flexible as long as respectful. Cultural dress is accepted.

Office spaces are old and dated

While fun and exciting being at Callam offices, it's certainly a poorly designed and hard-to-work-in space. It's loud and disruptive and either way too hot or way too cold. It's also highly inaccessible. No end-of-trip facilities. No gym. ACT Government should provide discounts for a local gym network to support wellness. Dress code is great - there really isn't one and I have never had anyone speak to me about my personal choices.

The office space in Callam Offices is not so appealing, especially when the roof leaks during rain. Some of the facilities are run down and need renovations. The dress code is smart casual. 5/10 However, the office in Dickson is very inviting with its use of natural light to brighten the office space. It's more open and spacious to work in. 8/10

Really great office, location and facilities. There are no unreasonable dress codes.

Parking is expensive which means busses are a must, but the actual office is modern and has great facilities.
