Please comment on your company's office space, location and facilities. And while we're at it, please tell us a little about the dress code.
Location is not ideal, its a 10 minute walk from Southern Cross. Being in Docklands, there's not a lot of places to go nearby during or after work. Facilities are usable but could definitely be improved, with tech issues being very common in the meeting rooms. There is a culture of holding calls at a desk which leads to the office being quite distracting. Dress code is lax, commonly see smart casual but can see people wearing more formal or more casual.

Right in the middle of the CBD, with a great view of the Queen Victoria Building. They are modern and clean. I like that cleaners are employed instead of having some random employee have to clean the kitchen etc. Dress code seems to be "dress for the day". There's the full gamut from casual to suiting.

The ABS has offices in all major cities around Australia and they're all nice, modern and have really good facilities for staff. The dress code is relaxed, business casual, smart casual all the way to professional/corporate will be appropriate.

The offices are very functional but no particularly comfortable or aesthetically pleasing. The dress code is quite casual/up to the individual.

The Brisbane office is perfectly located. It's close to a lot of public transport options and has a fantastic end of trip facility for those who ride/scoot/walk to work. It is also pretty central so is close to a number of shops and food options.

Being close to public transport and having a nice view is great. Has access to the roof which will be good when the weather isn't so cold. Dress code is so loose it basically doesn't have one, just don't offend anyone and people are so accepting that it's not a big deal wearing shorts and a t-shirt.

Lovely office space. Has a great view and offers a few different work spaces - I am the only person in my team in Melbourne, so often I will sit, looking out over the view and do my work from there. Lots of meeting rooms for when it is needed. Dress code in the office is corporate casual, and casual on Fridays which works for me

Very convenient location, right opposite the central train station. Facilities are good and support a good working environment. Dress code is appropriate

Office space is nice, I don't like how quiet the bathroom is and there isn't enough cubicles/urinals. Dress code is chill
Graduate, Sydney - 25 Jul 2024
Space is laid out fine I guess, mostly it's clean and if things are broken they get fixed quickly. There's no cutlery or crockery in the kitchen so that can be very annoying if you forget a fork, but there is a kitchen with whatever you'd need. I've never been able to get a locker as there always seems to be a waiting list and I keep moving offices. Seems ot vary office to office, but largely no-one really seems to care what I wear. I've seen people in shorts and a t-shirt in the summer, also seen people is suits pretty often.

Average-nice facilities, dress code is business casual - and people range a lot within that without comment.

Office is clean and comfortable, recent investment into better lighting has helped. More natural light would be nice, but it's a nice space. Sit-stand desks and comfortable chairs. Kitchens are practical and comfortable to use. Toilets are usually fine. Dress code is business casual, depends on the individual. Some people wear jeans any day of the week, some people wear suits.

I've only ever been to the office one time, on my first day, to pick up the laptop. I do know I could wear jeans and a tshirt, and as a programmer I love that casual approach.

Being a public servant means you do not get any fancy amenities such as free coffee and fruits. However our office is centrally located, in a nice building with free gym and access to end of trip facilities and lockers for personal items.

The ABS Melbourne office is well-maintained, spacious, and (most importantly to me) located in the city and close to public transport. The dress code is fairly relaxed, which is great - I feel like I can dress comfortably but the office still feels professional

Office space is well equipped and focus on ergonomic setups. Facilities are good but could be better. Dress code is semI formal but fairly relaxed.
Graduate, Perth - 22 Jul 2024
The two office spaces I have worked in (Melbourne and Sydney) have been excellent and well-located. Facilities are maintained well and office services staff are always helpful. The dress code varies between offices, but this seems more a consequence of the city culture than anything enforced by the ABS.

Office has all amenities that I need. Location is good - I catch public transport into town then have a 10 min walk to the office. Dress code (corporate casual) gives me lots of options.

The offices are well equipped and clean

Office has great facilities, location is good however travelling into the city has expenses which add up over time. The office space could be a bit 'livelier' and sometimes feels a bit dull.
