Getting to work with innovative technology that enables cutting-edge subatomic research to be conducted is still something which blows my mind everyday I’m at work.
I’m still a little bit in awe of all the science that happens at ANSTO. Seeing the work that goes into keeping the reactor running is motivation for me to keep learning and pushing myself.
From engaging with the industry at conferences to communicating the impact of the amazing research that is being conducted at ANSTO, I have been able to take an active role in growing and developing research projects.
ANSTO conducts a wide variety of activities in many areas of science and business, thus giving graduates the opportunity to rotate through several areas of the organisation for a range of experiences.
The ability to communicate technical concepts and details with people who may not have the same background or knowledge of the things that I consider important is by far the most important skill I have in my current role.
