Corporate Social Responsibility at Australian Taxation Office (ATO)

We have regular events that encourage socialising among staff.

In my short time with the organisation, I've seen the separating wastes for landfill, recycling and landfill.

No parking for staff to push them to use public trains, paperless workplace and separate waste bins for low carbon footprints and sustainability.

Everything is digital and if it isn't then there are methods to move to digital. Lots of resources used to inform taxpayers, especially those from the CALD (culturally and linguistically diverse) audience on various tax and super things.

Every year, the ATO hosts the biggest morning tea in which different business lines contribute towards raising money for social causes such as cancer treatment. Staff bring items of food for sale or make financial donations towards this cause.

We are public servants. We work for every Australian, to ensure compliance to tax laws is easy and simplified.

Many groups for Neurodiversity, LGBTQ and other social movements and ethical areas. Allows strong connection for those that may feel isolated in other careers/companies

The ATO is an ethical organisation contributing towards the social wellbeing of the Australian public.
