Management at AustralianSuper

I am very happy with my rotation leader. They are very supportive and have regular catchups and help develop my soft skills. They give me honest and open feedback that I can use to improve on my skills. I appreciate the early careers managers, however at time they are not very receptive to feedback on the graduate program and can be inflexible.

All of my managers have been really supportive and are always there when I need them.

People are generally very approachable and willing to teach.

They are highly accessible - I have regular conversations with my manager about my personal development, performance feedback and she is receptive when I speak to her about how she is as a leader.

Managers are great, communicative and provide great feedback

The managers I have dealt with in my day-to-day are mostly great, they are keen on grad progression and are very positive, however as grads we are sometimes given managers who haven't been managers before and therefore their management styles are yet to be formed and sometimes result in a poor experience, I also believe that the managers within the program are difficult in the terms that they seem to provide different information to many of us and then confuse the topic with no one knowing the actual answer

Throughout my time with the company I have had many different managers, some have been better than others but are all usually at a high standard. They are generally very approachable and accessible and have been able to mentor me well. Some have been better than others at internal communication, feedback, and recognition.
