My training is ongoing, I have learned a lot of the necessary aspects of my role, however, there are still areas I have not yet encountered, though with the help and support of my manager and colleagues, I will eventually acquire the knowledge, when the applicable job/ticket arises.

I was trained on job, which I enjoy. However, I struggled with multiple conflicting approaches to task executions.

The first week of development was awesome. We were flown to Auckland and accommodated in a nice hotel. We spent a week engaging with company executives and participating in development activities like a hackathon. This experience taught me a lot about myself and how I work in a team.
Graduate, Christchurch - 02 Jul 2024
A lot of video units which is standard, not the most captivating training
Graduate, Wellington - 01 Jul 2024
I've been invited to many company paid seminars, webinars and such during my tenure, all of which have been appropriate to my role at Datacom. I've also had nothing but support from people around me to get the job done. The on-the-job training could do with a polish, but it hasn't stopped me achieving the most important thing which is delivering to customers what we've promised, on time.

Can be better. Maybe better organized and planned, specific to the roll the person is taking.
Graduate, Wellington - 07 Nov 2023
The company has a Percipio learning account with specific pathways set-up for each role type. They also have a 2-week onboarding programme for graduates. I have picked up the terminology used in a technology environment.
Graduate, Auckland - 06 Nov 2023
A wealth of books and free online resources are made available to us, and everyone is always willing to help when you have questions. One thing I do wish however, is that I was challenged more at work. There is often a steady stream of tasks to do but they can often get repetitive, and I may go for a time without a new challenge/problem.

Internal self-directed online training is useful.

So much learning material even recognition payouts percipio history recognition

There are good opportunities available, but I haven't had much direction or incentive to train. beyond my current role.
