Culture at DXC Technology

8.3
8.3 rating for Culture, based on 23 reviews
Please describe your company's culture both in the office and after hours. Let us know about the structure and hierarchy, cooperation and teamwork, and socialising amongst colleagues.
Laid back work-from-home work culture primarily. With some other employees off at client workplaces. After-hours social clubs available for those who are into that.

I believe DXC has a positive culture, especially within the graduate and early career community. DXC plans in-office and virtual activities and events every month or so. The early career community in Sydney plans social activities as well.

My team is great, we have fun with banter and have our own mini games while we are in the office. Really improves the work life.

Culture is great, some out of hours activities however largely limited to my local team. Cooperation is high and works well in a high trust environment. Again somewhat difficult with large numbers working from home, but my team being largely in office makes a big difference.

Within the NZ context you can talk to anyone no matter the hierarchy. Good socializing amongst colleagues howevere not many people come into the office.

There is some culture in the office, and a few after-work drinks and/or work lunches have been organised on an ad-hoc basis, however because lots of individuals have left (especially in the Early Careers Community), this culture has been reduced when compared to when I first joined. When I first joined the portfolio, there seemed to be a more rigid hierarchy, however because a few people have left, this hierarchy has become less rigid. There is a reasonable amount of teamwork within the portfolio, which has been beneficial when we have had hard deadlines to meet.

Our company culture is characterized by a balanced and cooperative environment, both during office hours and after work. The structure and hierarchy promote an open and inclusive atmosphere, emphasizing teamwork. Colleagues work well together for the most part, and there's a notable level of support within teams from what I've experienced. Socializing after hours is also common.
