I would receive a bug report, maybe work with a tester on how I can recreate the issue in the web application. Then research the underlying code. Try many different things as part of solving the issue, send them to code review, and then commit the changes for testing. This is a lot of work in JavaScript on the front-end, with Kendo UI for jQuery. Also in the Oracle database, using PL/SQL. In-between is C# ASP.NET 4.5, but I do not often work in there yet.

In my first year, my responsibilities include completing learning modules, obtaining Microsoft certifications, shadowing my buddy, and starting to assist on projects. Additionally, there are various extracurricular groups available. I am currently involved in planning social activities for the early career community and working with the social impact practice in their digital accelerator program.

I have various day-today responsibilities, which include generating labour reports on a weekly basis, portfolio governance discussions, portfolio stand-ups, project catch-ups, and professional development.

My roles and responsibilities vary from day to day. I am usually running multiple projects concurrently, so a typical day involves project planning and coordination, meetings with the client and delivery teams, PMO work, etc. No day looks the same which keeps things interesting.
