What are your thoughts on pay and bonuses at your company?
For grads while it is slightly higher than big4 consulting firms, it is still well below some of the competitor firms. Annual leaves are also standard at 4 weeks. There are other consulting firms that provide 20% more leaves with additional 20-40% for special occasions and volunteering.

Graduate, Melbourne - 13 Aug 2024
Pay is less important to me than skills gaining currently. Pay is competitive and above competitors but not huge.

We have had a recent pay rise but it still doesn't compensate for the many extra hours and psychological pressure the job places on you. Setting pay is hard given that it's hard to set a base level across all employees when some offices might be busier than others - this should be compensated then through bonuses. However, I've heard the bonuses aren't that good and don't really reflect your performance at a junior level.

Seems to be fair relative to the industry, not the most important factor for me
Graduate, Brisbane - 11 Feb 2021
Meets the average salary/bonus of the industry.

Pay is not great at entry level but there are clear opportunities for promotions and raises not long after entry level.

The pay is actually lower than I was getting at my retail job while at university. Per hour it is quite bad. I have heard it is better in Sydney/Melbourne offices.
Graduate, Brisbane - 07 Dec 2020
I haven't experienced bonuses yet. Pay is competitive when compared with other firms in the same industry.

What are your company's best or most unusual perks? For example: free tickets, free dinners, moving expenses, taxis, pension, etc.
Perks that other firms don't already have, like mental health support.

Graduate, Melbourne - 13 Aug 2024
Best perks are being able to expense your business development expenses - it's really great to know your company supports your network and is willing to invest in you building a great network. Another good perk is being able to expense your meal and taxi home if you are working late - it makes up partly for the lack of overtime compensation. I think that the BD/Marketing support is really important and I hope KM never gets rid of it.
