The training programs have been very informal and are spread out throughout the year so you can attend which one suits you. I have learnt multiple things throughout them this year including welding inspection tests, variations specific to my work etc.

You are put through all required training and inductions for site (free of charge). There are other opportunities for internal training in the business but are not advertised well nor are they very common.

There is a full graduate program, log book and process you go through. There are a number of different subjects all with a number of different sessions and topics. Mostly its on the job training. They don't do too much formal training. training sessions range from quality, thinking on your feet, resilience, contract to the welding session in Perth at the graduate forum. for me, the thing I learnt is how to deal with competition and talking to clients. I had never dealt with either before. But the managers are very good at walking you through the process of dealing with competitors and talking to clients.
