Please provide further information on diversity with respect to women, ethnic minorities and LGBT. Please comment on issues such as recruitment, retention, promotion, child care, maternity leave, etc.
Everyone is really open to everyone. The acceptance of Mat and Pat leave is amazing. The respect towards both men and women are great.

RAA are deeply committed to diversity, and from what I have witnessed, are super accommodating maternity and paternity leave and staff retention related to this. They are also committed to help educate people on social topics like respect to women, LGBTIQA+, Indigenous reconciliation, etc.

There could be a greater commitment to diversity company-wide, especially respecting cultural and orientation diversity.

The company is very much committed to diversity when it comes to respecting women especially women in STEM, ethnic minorities and the LGBTIQIA+ community. In terms of maternity leave, from what I have heard it's really good as they allow the staff member to go on leave and when they come back they still have their role for them.

We have many communities in the workforce like LGBTIQA+, Reconciliation and more. They host lunch and learns to learn more about things like women in the workforce, advice, etc. As well as optional learning sessions (half-day and full-day) that we are able to enroll in.

As an African Muslim women I was nervous about how I'd fit in but RAA has been nothing short of amazing.

I cannot comment on most of the above. There is a great representation of women in all leadership roles at RAA. There are communities available for those that identify as LGBTQIA+ and great work in the First Nations space.

The company has a diverse team and they are vocal on how they will continue to be inclusive and diversify the team members. There are groups dedicated to different things - for example, a PRISM group that attends Pride marches and does educational pieces for the staff. I have also participated in cultural awareness training during my internship

One outstanding would be the cultural awareness training that the interns and I attended. Previously, I never knew anything about First Nations but after attending the training session, it has opened my eyes and I'm much more aware about First Nations.

Heaps of groups to engage with at RAA (kind of like Uni clubs) to appeal to different peoples interest. No issues, everyone has the opportunity voice concerns. Biggest concern right now is salt & pepper is low.

RAA openly expresses commitment to diversity. There is an LGBTIQA+ group. In progress, there's a Women in Stem group. RAA is partnered with the Tjindu Foundation and interacts with the foundation frequently. The company is very focussed on diversity in the workplace, and offers cultural awareness workshops to provide awareness about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, history and the positive impact of diversity in the workplace. RAA also has events for Reconciliation Week.

The company is diverse in the most natural way possible. As a person of colour I have often found myself being the token diversity person in most teams I have been a part of, but at RAA diversity is not a symbolistic thing. The teams are super inclusive and respectful. The managers are accommodating of your needs whether it be childcare or disabilities and also very accommodating to differences in beliefs and backgrounds.
