9.2 rating for Management, based on 16 reviews
How accessible are managers and do they make good mentors? You may want to address internal communication, performance feedback or praise and recognition.
All managers i have had the opportunity to work with have been amazing. Great mentors with great advice.

Managers at RAA are highly accessible as everyone is super friendly, willing to share knowledge, assisted by there being no real hierarchical culture. Everyone is approachable. There are lots of avenues to seek feedback and give praise, and every quarter RAA has Elevate awards, where people can recognise their colleagues for their great work.

The managers are usually open to communication, but they are pretty busy so whether you'll be able to catch them is another question. They usually would regularly praise and give feedback to performance though, and there are regular catchups.

My manager is amazing, I couldn't have asked for a better manager. From day 1, he made us all feel a part of the team and was extremely approachable. Could not have asked for better support and guidance from him. With my manager we have fortnightly 1:1 catchups where I can ask him any questions I have as well as ask for feedback to understand how I'm going. We also get given a mentor who is a staff member from a different business area which has been beneficial as you can ask them any questions you have about the business, who ask for any type of advice.

Good mentors. Managers can be very nice but not much critical feedback

Extremely happy. Each graduate receives a buddy (previous grad), a mentor (somewhere else in the business), a consistent manager throughout and all share a graduate manager. I have an abundant amount of support. I also have fortnightly catch-ups with my manager no matter what team I am in and monthly with the graduate manager. They have all made themself known that I can reach out whenever.

My manager has been really supportive and accessible whenever I need. Communication is through teams, in the office or in our 1 on 1 sessions.

Managers are very friendly and helpful. Have been supportive in finding me work I enjoy and have provided feedback to help me improve.

My manager has been really present and we have had formal weekly check-ins but my manager has been available at any time to provide help & feedback. I have also had a mentor throughout the internship who has provided great support too.

There's never a day where I don't feel like I can approach my manager. Even if I have a quick question, he will always make time for me. He goes above and beyond by organizing things like practice presentation and networking opportunities with other departments without me even asking for them. Extremely grateful for that opportunity.

I love my manager. In the first week, she was known as work Mum. We have weekly formal 1:1 for career development but also to acknowledge how I am coping and what do I need. I've got 2 mentors, one that has jumped around careers a lot but found his calling as initially, I outlined I don't know what I want to do in the future. Second one, I have a lot more of personal connection as his an Aboriginal man who is same mob as me. I've got all their numbers and we have teams as well as being Fb friends as I've formed strong relations.

My manager is awesome - super approachable, available to help and provide feedback, and encouraging. RAA gives us access to goal setting platforms that allows my manager and myself to discuss professional and career goals. I don't have too much interaction beyond my immediate manager, but they try and interact with the department and have joined a department meeting in the past.

Whilst on rotation the managers I had were very approachable and supportive, however in cyber its difficult to get a hold of managers and it often takes them long times to approve things such as leave and there are no sessions for one on ones.

The managers are very accessible and supportive. They trust you to do your job without micromanaging and acknowledge efforts. Our manager has weekly catchups with the graduates as a group and fortnightly 1 on 1 catchups. There are also informal conversations in between if you need. The management (both direct and senior) has kept us in the loop of things and ensure there are no communication gaps. They also are very receptive to feedback and make sure everyone's opinion is heard.
