Office & Workplace at RAA

Please comment on your company's office space, location and facilities. And while we're at it, please tell us a little about the dress code.
the city offices are definitely nicer than the ME end ones, feels more inviting. the dress code is business casual and can feel like you can be yourself when coming into the office.

The marketing department is located in RAA's CBD office, which is in a central location with great access to public transport. The facilities in and around the office are also well looked after. RAA's other office is at Mile End, and although facilities are a little bit older, there are plenty of parking options, an on-site cafe, and lots of great communal spaces. In general, and within reason, I feel as if I can wear whatever makes me feel comfortable to work, and there are few rules when it comes to dress code.

Depends on the location you are situated at. The location in the city has a lot of great facilities, however the location outside of the city can lack stuff like cutlery, coffee, tea, milk. The dress code is casual formal, but usually not enforced - you can wear what you want (within reason).

There are several office locations, our main office for my role is the city location which is in a very convenient location and is great for those that rely on public transport. Our office in mile end is also great as it has its own cafe which is very beneficial since the office is more isolated to external cafes. The dress code is I would say business casual, you can wear whatever you feel comfortable in as long as it is respectful. We also have a casual day, which is always fun to dress down one day a week.

Location great. We are moving to a new office building so that should improve the facilities

Clean office space but at RAA place and Mile End. The dress code is dress for your day which I like the flexibility

Nice central CBD location, Mile End Location is also easy to get to. Nice working environment with end of trip facilities available on request!

There are two locations (CBD & a metro "central" location). Both have beautiful fit outs. The dress code is "dress for your day" so flexible depending on what your day looks like

Mostly based at Mile End office. Sometimes will be in RAA place at the city. Location is very convenient for me to travel to. Facilities and office space is nice, tidy and modern. Great equipment and facilities provided. Particularly in RAA place, felt really fancy and even had spray deodorants left in the men's bathroom sink area.

City & Mile End. Both very accessible, 5-minute walk from train station or directly out front is bus stops. Both locations, come with fully working kitchens (dishwasher, fridges, microwave, etc). The kitchen appliances are appropriate for the thousands of staff. Mile End has a cafe- with Nutritional meals available as well as coffee/ cafe essentials. Reasonable price too (eg. roast of the day with veggies & chips can cost $5-$10 depending on size). Dress code is dress for the day. Days interacting with community, I might wear my RAA shirt or days working on projects, I'll wear comfortable dress or shirt/ shorts. Days with presentations to present, I'll wear dress pants, nice shirt and blazer. Very good dress code.

RAA has several spaces, 3 of which I can work from: Mile End, King William St, and Lot 14. These are nice spaces with hot desking, which is good for collaboration. We also have the opportunity to work from home. The dress code is "dress to your day", which I really like because I can wear casual on the days I don't have important meetings (and the CEO and general manager wear jeans too)

RAA has recently moved some teams, including 3 of the 5 data teams, to a new office in the city. This office is really nice and very accessible, which is fantastic. They also have an office at lot14 which is really nice, but often quite empty. The main office is located at Mile End, which is a bit harder to access via public transport and it is a bit tricky to find parking. However, for a small fee there is staff car parking available at the site. RAA has a dress for your day policy, and most teams embrace a casual Friday dress code. They have had a fundraising 'wear your pjs to work day' while I have been working here as well!

We are currently transitioning to much newer offices with other shared companies which gives us a good chance to network.

RAA place (where the team is based) is quite nice, comfy chairs and good technical equipment. Not having to drive and find a park is a plus, but only if public transport is a quicker option for you to get there. Mile end (where I've had to work at times) is alright. Some workspaces are not that aesthetically pleasing and parking can be a pain if you start later. But not having to catch public transport like for the city is a plus at this location, along with an on-site cafe which is very cheap and has a different menu each day of the week. The dress code for non-member facing roles like mine is dress for your day. I've only had to dress in corporate attire for presentations and meetings with higher ups. Most of the teams have casual Fridays where it is more acceptable to show up in trackpants or hoodies.
