Corporate Social Responsibility at SLB

The company has few initiatives on corporate social responsibility, especially for local communities. However, this is something that could be further developed.

The company takes it environmental responsibility seriously, we have a strong HSE team to look after the matter. All operation in the base need to comply with local regulation and also meeting SLB's high standard. The company also continue evolve itself in new energy, ccs which helping the world heading to net zero. The company also has all the policy to protect employees in the workplace. Our company promote diversity from the inside out by establishing an inclusive hiring practice and encouraging your teams to embrace different cultures, backgrounds and identities.

We are supporting many organizations such as SPE to visit our base for exposure.

The company has very strong commitments to Nature, Environment and People,, and a global Sustainability fund that is awarded yearly to locations that put a project together for voting and ask for a budget. For example, last Year in Australia they became part of a GiE with UWA and got a budget to build some school in PNG.

Our company is actively involved in various Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, including environmental sustainability programs, community outreach, and educational support.

I didn't follow close enough to comment about, but I will make effort to be more involved.

I have not seen much initiative by SLB for community outreach

Slb funded my SPE chapter whilst at university which allowed for opportunities to keen students they wouldn't otherwise get without funding. I'm not familiar with any other initiatives but would be welcome to the idea.

Robust Reconciliation Action Plan.

SLB has global and local programs aligned with the ONU Sustainability objectives and yearly publishes the sustainability report on its open page. Local teams are encouraged to submit projects for evaluation and award every year.

Slb have different Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) that allow employers to be apart of different groups to help on separate projects to corporate ones. It allows the employees at slb to help support other causes such as helping those who have disabilities and other great causes
