Management at SLB

I understand they're trying their best to provide life/work balance for FIFO role. However, they have their own constraints in resources while maintaining profitability of the company so definitely there are some compromises along the way but in general, improvements are made over time.

Managers are diverse, they came from different countries in the world, bringing many different cultures to the team. They are open to change and listening to employee concern through active engagement activities.

We have quarterly review for our performance compare to objective state beginning of year. This kind of review put as align with both parties and answer all issue we have out of normal conversation we have day to day.

my manager is very approachable. He answers my queries quickly and listens to my concerns to get a solution in place. He gives me constant feedback and recognition as well which I take onboard. He is companionate, understanding and flexible which makes the role enjoyable and satisfying.

My manager is really welcoming and personable. The other managers in the company seem really busy sometimes.

Our managers are highly accessible and effective mentors, promoting open communication, providing regular constructive feedback, and actively recognizing and celebrating employee achievements. But sometimes they are very busy.

As mentioned previously, sometimes managers treat employees as if they were tools with serial numbers rather than human beings.

They are great at providing quality guidance and support, especially when the issue that you are facing is not clearly understood by you. The different environments that this job exposes you too will always find a way to confuse and distract you from your pathway. Amazing mentors with some great experiences on the career and life.

They are super nice people. We have a regular communication, talking about what I learnt in the past and my further plan. Usually, they give me some suggestions about my questions and my views, and I appreciate it.

Good support systems and multiple mentors

Managers are very good, theyre work load is very high so sometimes seem a bit stressed. Sometimes people deflect problems around the office

PSD managers are often business-sighted and have limited time for their workforce on a personal level. Communication can at times be cold or perceived as disrespectful and praise, rare. FDE managers on the other hand are more approachable and personable, providing good and honest feedback.

Managers are great, always willing to help and prepare me for job. They change a bit more frequently than expected however

So far, all my managers were extremely supportive and nice. Sometimes it's hard to reach them due to their busy schedules, but in general we have a good relationship with our managers.

I am happy with mentoring and their attitude is excellent. Only issues are with communication where it is sometimes not possible to get a timely response. Possibly communication issues internally as I notice trends of last minute assigning.

It's okay

Some management people from different office are really good and organised. They also give more opportunities, support and ensure we are recognised.

Sometimes it's hard to plan a meeting with managers as they are always busy, but extremely helpful once we end up having the meeting.
