What are your thoughts on pay and bonuses at your company?
Very decent starting with consistent increases as a grad
Graduate, Perth - 12 Sep 2024
The pay is fair for my experience. I'm hoping to gain more experience in 12 months to have better payment. In fairness, the pay is of the higher bracket in Australia, so I won't complain if my payment doesn't improve next few years.
Graduate, Perth - 21 Aug 2024
Not the best pay in the market in term of net income, but top notch if combining with all the others benefits that the company provides.
Experienced, Perth - 21 Aug 2024

pay is good, an after the first promotion there is a massive change, when I became eligible to Field Bonuses
Graduate, Perth - 06 Aug 2024
While the pay and bonuses at our company are competitive and fair, I believe trainees could also benefit from receiving bonuses to better reflect their contributions and motivation
Graduate, Perth - 26 Jul 2024
First year as a trainee, in my opinion, it is not fair the fact that we don't receive bonus. Trainees should receive core bonus, bonus for being on the rig. When the trainee is a third hand, ok, no bonus makes sense, they are there not to lead the job, they are there to learn. But once you are secondhand trainee, it means you are leading your shift, it is high responsibility with no reward. As a FIFO worker, we expect higher pay. Fifo workers spend less time with our family, they are away for long periods of time from family and social life, this must be compensated with higher pay. In my opinion the base beginning salary for a field worker should be 100K. Core bonus should start on the first year if you are secondhand on the field (you handle 12 hours shift). Tool bonus should be related to your experience starting from 50,00 per tool for trainees(G7/G8) and higher and higher per grade. It is not uncommon Field crew run tools that they didn't receive any training, but they are delivering the job anyway, so they should receive a bonus for the tool proportional to their grade. For example, I am G8 Field specialist, and I don't receive any tool bonus and I will need to run the tools that I didn't receive training yet as second hand, deliver the job with zero reward. I am not happy with this because I think it is not fair. I will start receiving tool bonus just when I breakout to G9.

The pay from the company is not that good compared to the standard of leaving in my country but I believe as I moved on to another grade or level there will be improvements in my basic pay.

Very competitive salary that is generally considered globally very good.

No bonus for a trainee, but the payment is good.
Graduate, Melbourne - 13 Jul 2024
I believe I should be paid more and that trainees should be given rig bonuses as well.

I am very satisfied with pay and bonuses. There is a strong incentive to complete jobs, and to a high standard. Good medical benefits and DSPP options.

Pay is good
Graduate, Perth - 26 Jun 2024
I think bonuses should be a bit higher. Salary is fair.
Graduate, Perth - 24 Jun 2024
I am happy with the bonuses to receive in the future , salary is okay. Without bonuses I would not be happy with the salary, when I consider the other graduate roles I turned down in terms of working hours. I also understand that bonuses at my location will be less due to less job frequency and smaller tickets.

1. Pay: I think it is kind of low during the current cost of living, most of my pay goes to rent and bills and I don't qualify for home loans with banks in Brisbane. The minimum they take is $140,000 for a single person. 2. Bonuses: I don't qualify for any bonuses for the first 6-8 months
Intern, Moomba - 19 Oct 2023
It is all right. But you dont get bonuses until you reach a certain level in your career in this comapny.
