Working Hours at Susquehanna International Group

8.5
8.5 rating for Working Hours, based on 23 reviews
How flexible is your company when it comes to hours?
The hours for researchers and traders are not very flexible as they are tied to market hours. Typically you would get 1-2hours before the market you cover opens and leave around market close - the hours aren’t flexible but very reasonable and there are extremely rarely reasons to work overtime.

Trading Australia I'm basically just doing a 9-5, maybe staying back or coming in early if there are specific things I need to prep. The culture is great when it comes to not expecting you to do a lot of overtime for the sake of working more, and is generally on individual judgment as to how much should be done outside of market hours.

Hours are fine, although not flexible given market hours.

Very reasonable hours within the industry.

Work hours are really around what markets/teams you work with. For me, that means I aim to be sitting in my seat by 8am, and can be out of the door 5pm. Obviously that is flexible at times, and at times I may need to be in early/stay late for meetings.

Hours can be intensive, but if you have a reason to leave early it is generally accepted without push back. I found a lot of my hours were me staying back optionally.

Working hours are usually 9am to 6pm.

Work hours are very reasonable (40-50-hour work weeks) with no requirement to do work during the evenings/over the weekends. However, due to the nature of the markets the hours you work are understandably somewhat inflexible.

On average work between 8.5 - 10 hours a day. Hours are generally dictated by the market traded and the working hours vary across different trading desks.

They're quite flexible. 9-5:30 on average. but some people are more inclined to stay later in order to get their work done, since they're so driven.

I have really good work hours. Normally I start my day at 9am and finish around 5:25pm. Sometimes if I need to do after-hour application deployment, I could come to office a bit later. I work from home for two days a week, and come to office 3 days.

I work 4 days in the office and one day WFH. In a few months I will move to a 3 days in the office and 2 days WFH split. I usually start around ~8:45am and finish ~5:30pm with a ~1 hour lunch break. Because Susquehanna is a trading firm, you need to be available during trading hours. However, my team shares the load where some people start earlier to support earlier starting exchanges while other work a little later for later exchanges.

I work 9 hours a day, with a 1 hour lunch break. The hours are extremely flexible, and my manager trusts me to manage my time as long as I get my work done.

I work around nine hours per day with an hour long lunch. I occasionally have to work on the weekend, but this is compensated by working less during the following week. SIG is relatively flexible in terms of start and end time, in that you can shift your day an hour forward or back with no issues.

9:00 - 17:30, max two days WFH depending on your role. Market opens at 10:00, so should aim to arrive before 9:30, people starts leaving at 17:30 but there's no mandatory requirement.
