Culture at Sovereign Private

9.3
9.3 rating for Culture, based on 3 reviews
Please describe your company's culture both in the office and after hours. Let us know about the structure and hierarchy, cooperation and teamwork, and socialising amongst colleagues.
Small office environment of less than twenty professional staff. It is easy to seek help and advice from senior staff members and there is a strong emphasis on assisting each other to complete work. The work culture is excellent, there are social events such as trivia and many events outside of work hours organised by team members.

I really enjoy my team. Structure is pretty flat, team is very friendly, decent amount of work events and benefits. We aren't encouraged to work overtime but at times when there is a lot of work it is encouraged to work as a team to help everyone. The partner can be a bit demanding at times, but the managers are a really great barrier between the partner and the graduates.

The company's culture is a positive aspect of Sovereign Private with lots of friendly faces everyday in the office. There is not a huge drinking culture unlike some other firms taking in graduates which can be a positive or negative depending on your tastes. It is generally relaxed in the office although there can be stress and pressure at times. Generally you will work with Seniors or Managers on tasks rather than Partners due to the nature of the work and delegation as someone in a junior role. Everyone is always happy to help and there is a lot of knowledge in the office to help you develop. Socialising in the office is good and people in the team will often go to lunch together or have lunch in the kitchen. There are also events which are run quarterly which allow for more social interaction with your colleagues outside of the work environment.
