Pros & Cons

  • The best part about working at Sovereign Private is the people you will work with. The managers, consultants, and other employees will help you every step of the way.
  • There are a broad range of services provided to clients... work can change if there are new projects or clients which gives a range of different tasks.
  • The managers are very accessible and approachable and make time to ensure staff improve from the feedback they give.
  • We have regular check-ins with managers to assess our performance and performance reviews with the managers for pay rises and promotions.
  • The office is in an excellent location... open office with a great view of the city/harbor.
  • During busy times there may be a high workload, which is generally expected in the industry.
  • As a small business, the graduate program will also not be as structured as a larger firm and you will not be starting your job with a cohort of grads at the same time.
  • It can get quite busy at Sovereign Private with tight deadlines, which can make the office quite stressful.
  • Most people work from the office 5 days a week.
  • There are no bonuses, which is standard for accounting.
