Application Process & Interviews at Sovereign Private

The interview process was straightforward for an undergraduate consultant position with two interviews: one with manager and the second with one of the partners.

I had an offer at another place, and they quickly hired me. My manager interviewed me and she was very sweet, I felt very welcomed.

For a Grad/ Undergrad there are not too many assessments or rigorous interviews. It is generally just a chat about yourself and your experience/ interests to see if you are a good fit and so that you can get to know a bit about the company and see if they are a good fit for you!

I was asked about my prior experience in an office/work environment, my future plans and questions about my current study.

What I did before and mainly asking questions about myself since I did not have much prior experience. Ensuring that the staff culturally fits is a big priority.

Mostly just the basic interview questions, nothing tricky. The questions were mostly just going along with the flow of the conversation and asking about any specifics mentioned in your resume.

Engaging with company values. Show an eagerness to learn and develop. Show how you can manage a work life balance.

Know your potential and worth, be willing to learn and take on opportunities but also take care of your mental health.

Come in corporate clothing and be yourself!
