Training programs such as Tax Banter to keep up skills as well as internal training sessions to explain different tax concepts. We are encouraged when working on a job to seek clarification on areas we don't know so that we can run through this with a manager to gain a better understanding.

Since it is a small firm training is quite dynamic with a lot of training on the job. I enjoyed the ability to learn on the go and being proactive with asking questions.

The formal training sessions are fairly regular and allow everyone to learn more and stay updated. The informal training is in valuable, and you will get this every day from your colleagues. The formal training for an entry level position to begin with will be difficult as you will be starting without a cohort so be prepared to pick up things quickly and write everything down that you learn!
