Please comment on your company's office space, location and facilities. And while we're at it, please tell us a little about the dress code.
There's a bit of variety between offices, especially newer versus older ones but all the ones I've worked in have had everything I've needed for the day. Dress code can also vary a bit depending on the location and work required of the day. Some people will wear the uniform every day, others will save that for when it is required and dress casually otherwise (Not uncommon to see executives turn up for work in jeans and a t-shirt only to change into the uniform shirt for certain meetings). The general rule seems to be that as long as you are dressed neatly and appropriately for your days tasks then no one has a problem.

There are 100 offices across the state for this department. Some are only our internal staff, and some are shared spaces with other Departments. We are always close to public transport, parking and good cafes though. The spaces are designed to be accessible-friendly, and often have lots of maps of the state, often a culture section (pet photos on the walls) and sizeable kitchens with coffee machines, milk in the fridge and seated areas. The dress code in the CBD office is more formal than other offices, where more corporate attire is common, but not enforced/expected. Most other offices are either business casual or neat casual (some people wear t-shirts and jeans), or the department issued uniforms. Dyed hair, piercings, tattoos and jewellery are always allowed, as long as they're not 'offending' anyone.

The offices are well-equipped, clean and modern. The dress code is most similar to business casual but is not very strict, and varies depending on whether the work has a field or external-facing component

Good desk sizes and easy to use technology

I have no issues with 8 nicholson st. And there is no real dress code (beyond a basic standard) - but I feel I am able to dress and express myself effectively however I please, and there is some culture of people supporting each other to do that. I know that this is not the same everywhere, and I am grateful for that.

Very good at regional offices and hubs - slow development process for district work centres

I work out of the government offices in Geelong. The dress code is pretty casual most of the time and I only really need to dress up for meetings with external partners or high level roles. There is a nice kitchenette and good restaurants and cafes nearby as well as a view of the ocean. The one thing it doesn't have is much parking but it is 5 minutes from the train station so it doesn't bother me.

I am well looked after in the office - two monitors, a spacious desk, and a great view. The location is great, close by to Parliament Station, and lots of shopping, food and gardens. The dress code is fairly relaxed, most men tend to wear chinos, boots or similar leather shoes and a smart casual buttoned shirt. I have seen some people in jeans and Birkenstocks. Definitely no ties.

Older buildings rank very poorly, but the newer ones are fantastic. The dress code can also be variable, depending where in the department you work. My area wears a uniform but the dress code is not strict. In other areas people choose to wear smart casual or more corporate clothes.

Some are nice and fun, some are dull and boring. dress code varies a lot! some people are in uniform, some are in t shirts and jeans. it all depends on the team you work with

It looks a lot better on the outside than inside. My floor has a fantastic view. Everyone hot desks and nobody enjoys it. The dress code is 'business casual' but is more lax. Men/male-identifying people have less flexibility in office attire than women.
