The graduates training sessions runs throughout the year and covers a wide range of topics which are pivotal in enhancing job knowledge. From KPI' and other formal paperwork procedures to more onsite knowledge like safety and machine utilisation, all topics are taught in conjunction with a specialist from that field. This not only enhances the quality of material by making use of real industry experience but also allows new engineers to start creating a relationship with people within the business.
The leadership program is another program I have been lucky enough to attend which focuses on training younger employees on management skills and interpersonal relationships in order to get the best result for a project. This material, I feel, is essential in every role from KPI engineer to higher management.
Winslow have a really good training and development program, where they assume all graduates to have zero ground knowledge and they help them from zero to build the required skills and knowledge to succeed in their carrier.
