Career Prospects at Xero Australia

The career progression roadmap is clear and reasonable to me, the structure is definitely helpful and intuitive for me to know what I would need to get better at to be able to move up the ranks at Xero.

They've recently changed the performance review, but it's all about goal setting and achieving those goals.

They are working through a performance metric company wide which will have greater clarity about how to progress through the ladder.

The program has been very transparent about career progression beyond the grad program.

At the completion of the grad year, we get promoted and a blanket salary increase. After that there are multiple promotion opportunities, in both IC and management pathway but this has slightly changed since the restructure. I have not yet enquired as to what it takes to move up the ranks beyond my grad year.

I don't know much about how career progression works at Xero. I believe you need to submit a promotion proposal with evidence of your hard work. There may be an interview involved as well?
