If you're a current Queensland Year 12 student you may be eligible to receive an offer for this course on the last day of Queensland Year 12 before receiving your ATAR or selection rank.

Satisfactory completion of Year 12 in an Australian school system or equivalent.

1.5-year program

You must have a recognised four-year full-time (or equivalent) bachelor degree in the electrical engineering discipline with a minimum GPA of 4.00 (on QUT's 7-point scale).

You must have:

• A recognised three-year full-time (or equivalent) bachelor degree of engineering or engineering technology in the electrical engineering discipline with a minimum 4.00 (on QUT's 7-point scale); or
• A recognised four-year full-time (or equivalent) bachelor degree in any other engineering discipline with a minimum 4.00 (on QUT's 7-point scale).

1.5-year program

You must have a recognised four-year full-time (or equivalent) bachelor degree in the electrical engineering discipline with a minimum GPA of 4.00 (on QUT's 7-point scale).

You must have a recognised three-year full-time (or equivalent) bachelor degree of engineering or engineering technology in the electrical engineering discipline with a minimum GPA of 4.00 (on QUT's 7-point scale).

Applications for the 2024 February and July intakes will open 1 September 2023.

You'll need:

• a completed recognised four-year full-time equivalent bachelor degree in the electrical engineering discipline with a minimum GPA of 4.0 (on QUT's 7 point scale).

You'll need a completed recognised full-time equivalent of either:

• a three-year bachelor degree in electrical engineering or engineering technology (in electrical engineering) with a minimum GPA of 4.0 (on QUT's 7 point scale)
• a four-year bachelor degree in any engineering discipline with a minimum GPA of 4.0 (on QUT's 7 point scale).

You'll need:

• a completed recognised three- or four-year full-time equivalent bachelor degree in electrical engineering or engineering technology (in electrical engineering) with a minimum GPA of 4.0 (on QUT's 7 point scale).

You must have a recognised bachelor degree (or higher qualification) in one of the following fields:

• Biomedical medical medical electronics etc engineering
• Biophysics
• Electrical avionics etc engineering
• Geophysics
• Mechanical engineering
• Medical physics
• Physics

The following degrees (or higher qualification) are not acceptable:

• Biomedical science
• Laboratory science
• Medical imaging
• Radiotherapy
• Medical radiation
• Medical science

A completed recognised bachelor degree (or higher award) in physics.

As part of QUT's application for admission process you will be automatically assessed for the 1.5 year program. If you wish to be considered for the 2 year program only please indicate this on your application form.

Master of Business - 1.5 year program

• A completed recognised bachelor degree in business or related field with a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 4.00 (on QUT's 7 point scale).

Master of Business - 2 year program

• A completed recognised bachelor degree in any discipline with a minimum grade point average of 4.0 (on QUT's 7 point scale).

Satisfactory completion of Year 12 in an Australian school system or equivalent.

You must have one of:

• A recognised bachelor degree (or higher qualification) in any discipline; or
• A recognised diploma (or higher qualification) in any discipline and at least two years full-time (or equivalent) professional work experience; or
• At least five years full-time (or equivalent) professional work experience.

You must have a completed recognised bachelor degree (or higher qualification) in any discipline.
