As a graduate sustainability consultant, my role has wide ranging responsibilities, from minimum compliance tasks to meeting and exceeding high sustainability targets.

civil engineer - civil design (sw quantity and quality, site grading, 3d design, concept plans, construction and DA drawings sets, etc), responding to RFI's and clients, coordinating resources

I work on various remedial projects, mostly with residential multi story buildings. My day-to-day responsibilities include, answering emails, providing fee proposals to clients, completing inspections, drafting reports, producing detailed designs and conducting site inspections.

Generally, my day would be like Morning Team Meeting for project briefing/ workload/ project status updates which is then followed by Client Meetings, Request for information (RFIs) close out, Site Inspections, Work related stuff.

I primarily work in stormwater management planning but have been given the opportunity to upskill into other areas within the civil discipline. I typically work on multiple projects at a time, and am given a lot of control over the designs.

Complete the tasks assigned by my supervisor including but not limited to: BIM modelling, gutter drainage design, fire hydrant water pressure design and so on.

No one day is the same, it depends on the prioritised tasks that have been identified with the help of my group manager. Sometimes I will be working on reports, sometimes it will be modelling buildings etc.

My role involves supporting senior engineers with structural design, analysis, and project documentation. My day-to-day tasks include performing calculations, creating and reviewing design models, and working on project reports. I also participate in team meetings and collaborate closely with different stakeholders.

My role is to provide structural design that satisfies demand from client and other stakeholders. Additionally, I am responsible in ensuring the construction of the structures satisfies structural design requirements. My day-to-day responsibilities include participating in meetings (internal and external), designing structures, helping out other structural engineers who need additional hand in the project, creating models, and inspecting projects

Working under project managers to produce structural designs. Attend site inspections, answer to RFIs and random requests.

I help support the more experienced engineers deliver jobs whilst taking on smaller projects that are easier to handle

My role is a Graduate Remedial Engineer. My tasks is different between day-to-day. Some of my tasks includes: - report writing (inspection reports, scope of works etc.) - structural analysis on steel and concrete structures - provide drawing/sketches - site inspection

My day-to-day responsibilities include designing the structure of buildings, assisting clients, learning, and collaborating.

Assisting senior engineers, doing design work, coordination with other disciplines.

Mainly is learning the engineering software and doing some small stuffs for the senior structural engineer.

I work under supervision of well experienced mentors and team members who are ready to provide support with a just a tap on the shoulder. I'm expected being trained on how to act as a professional. I'm always enough to take on different roles from design to site inspections.

Always different, often structural design.

My responsibilities are predominantly on project construction verification which includes regular site inspections, reviewing ITPs and work methodologies. Identifying site non-conformances. Managing and monitoring proposed changes to design or construction, and liaising with designers regarding the above.

Happy with the current sets of tasks being given to me such as column design, loading diagrams, as well as introductions to floor plates design, punching shear and the use of softwares.
