Pros & Cons

  • The team within Argon & Co are very supportive, the work we do is interesting and there are always opportunities to try new things.
  • A great culture that is fun, innovative and trusting. Everyone is willing to lend a hand and have a chat which is lovely.
  • Lots of opportunities to get exposed to different industries, and different parts of the supply chain. My colleagues are always willing to help and share their knowledge.
  • Flexibility and freedom to explore.
  • Argon’s reputation as a top consulting firm in supply chain means we have access to highly experienced professionals, and the willingness from everyone to mentor and teach is invaluable.
  • It is always hard starting at a new workplace as a graduate, with so many things to learn and the need to adapt to full time work and workplace expectations.
  • It is difficult to get to know everyone because of having to work on site.
  • Purely due to the industries we work with, there can be late nights and somewhat unpleasant sites/clients.
  • There is a lack of tailored training materials specifically designed for graduates. You need to take the initiative to build your own learning path and seek out opportunities.
  • Takes time at the beginning to adapt into different projects and rotations.

Gender diversity really needs to be improved - there is very little female representation in the leadership team.

Satisfaction

Satisfaction
The days are extremely varied depending on the project, so for people who like trying new things it's a great opportunity. Days can range from hands on, testing out solutions in a manufacturing facility, to intensive data analysis. I've really appreciated the level of responsibility and ownership I've been given as a graduate.

Good and comparable to competitors however it was misleading to include bonuses in the pay as part of advertising.
